Chicago Post Office Employees Credit Union, a $20M credit union located in Chicago, IL, is seeking a President/CEO with exemplary leadership skills to guide the growth of the credit union.

JOB SUMMARY: The CEO will direct the overall operations of the Credit Union in accordance with credit union policies and procedures as established by the Board of Directors. This individual will be charged with strategically enhancing lending, marketing, and branch operations; promoting membership growth; and driving the internal culture of the organization. The CEO will work with the Board of Directors to establish strategic plans, goals, and objectives and will be charged with leading the credit union towards achieving those goals. He or She will be responsible for ensuring financial stability in the best interest of the members, the employees and the credit union, while ensuring conformance with all applicable state and federal laws. Additionally, this individual will foster an environment for professional development for the staff and Board of Directors. As the face of the credit union, the CEO will promote the mission and vision of the organization, stay active in the industry, and ensure the credit union continues to deliver excellent service and products to its membership.

The ideal candidate will be a visionary with a strong desire for continuous improvement. Additionally, this position requires:

Strong leadership, organizational, analytical and tactical skills
Ability to coordinate, manage and direct others effectively
Ability to lead and support all daily operations of the credit union

A Bachelor's degree, along with ten years of progressive management experience within the credit union or retail banking industries is required.
